Made With Care

The Wairau Valley is known for producing fruit that adds brightness, tropical and citrus notes, and a lovely tighter acidity to our final product.​ Marlborough fruit adds acidity to the wine and Waipara delivers beautiful aromatics, blossom.

Each parcel of Pinot Gris is harvested at optimum ripeness.

Fermented in stainless steel tanks we use very select aromatic yeasts to make the wine more intense. We stop ferment early to retain a small amount of acidity and natural sugar to give the wine it's off-dryness.

The wine is held on lees for 3-4 months to help build mouth feel & texture, then blended and bottled.
